SERVICES
Quality RV Solar, LLC provides clean, detailed off-grid power solutions utilizing the industry’s best equipment and design. Our pricing reflects expert installation, product knowledge, custom programming, and technical support. In this section, we outline the packages we provide to offer a ballpark figure for equipment and installation. These estimates are based on standard applications without much modification to existing structure or equipment placement. If you are interested in any of these or related services, please contact us via the request forms.
The off-grid power solutions we offer can be thought of in (3) main subsystems: (1) Solar, (2) Battery Bank, and (3) Inverter. There are of course other optional packages which can enhance each of these subsystems. You will find these under some of the other categories, like Monitors, but pay close attention to what is included in the “Simple” vs. “Complete” packages under our main subsystems as some of them, like the “Complete” packages might already include some of those enhanced features. Each of the packages include all of the estimated material and labor hours needed for that subsystem to function independently or be incorporated into an existing electrical setup. By offering packages for each subsystem, you can shop for just the subsystems you need to integrate into your existing setup or they can be combined for a custom power solution based on your lifestyle.
SOLAR PACKAGES
In an RV application, solar does not power anything directly. It is a charging source for your batteries. These kits are designed for an existing battery bank or can be paired with one of our offered battery packages. There are three major considerations when sizing a solar array: (1) Roof Real-Estate; The size of your panels and overall array should be based on what your roof can accommodate. For smaller applications, like vans or Airstreams, smaller footprint 100W panels tend to work better than the larger 170W panels. (2) Battery Capacity; it is important to be aware of how much battery capacity you have compared to solar recharge potential. Too small of an array and you'll need to rely on secondary charging sources such as alternators, generators, or shore power. (3) Estimated Battery Consumption; Having a sense of your energy needs will inform the size of system.
COMPLETE RV SOLAR PACKAGES
The following Complete RV Solar Packages are designed for applications in which roof real-estate is more generous or has areas that can accommodate larger footprint solar panels. Each package is scaled by the number of panels and size of charge controller and internal wiring. These packages include tilt-able mounting hardware which is advantageous during the off-season or during different hours of the day, but it is even more beneficial because it allows you to easily access the underside of the panel or completely remove it while keeping the mounting hardware secured to the roof. The following packages also include a true shunt-based battery monitor which accurately measures incoming and outgoing energy from the battery bank to provide an accurate and instantaneous reading of battery capacity. Any of the packages that offer more than one panel will also include a roof junction box which cleanly combines multiple panels for a single roof penetration. We itemize and explain in greater detail what products are used and how they come together which you will find by clicking the hyperlinked Learn More buttons at the bottom of each kit. Before each install, we inspect the roof to determine the best installation technique for varying roof compositions and structures and we measure to ensure desired wattage can be accommodated within roof constraints. Depending on each application, the cost of these installations will vary some and be determined by what your roof can handle.

COMPLETE VAN SOLAR PACKAGES
The Complete Van Solar Packages are designed for vans or other small applications in which roof real-estate is very limited. Before each install, we inspect the roof to determine the best installation technique for varying roof compositions and structures and we measure to ensure desired wattage can be accommodated within roof constraints. Depending on each application, the cost of these installations will vary some and be determined by what your roof can handle.

SIMPLE SOLAR PACKAGES
The Simple Solar packages include many of the same quality products, like stainless steel mounting hardware and programmable Victron MPPT charge controllers, but do not have all the bells and whistles of our Complete Solar Packages. By replacing the tilt-able mounting hardware with a stationary mounting solution and removing the battery monitors, you will find some savings with these installations. While we like the convenience of tilt-able/easily removable panels and strongly suggest battery monitors with our installations, we understand that budget can be a limiting factor and want these systems to be more widely available for varying budgets. Before each install, we inspect the roof to determine the best installation technique for varying roof compositions and structures and we measure to ensure desired wattage can be accommodated within roof constraints. Depending on each application, the cost of these installations will vary some and be determined by what your roof can handle.
