600Ah Battle Born Battery Package
The 600Ah Battle Born Battery Package includes removal of the existing battery bank and installation of the following equipment in the existing battery compartment:
Installation Overview:
The process in a standard application is fairly straightforward. We disconnect current to the existing battery bank and remove all connections. Then replace the existing battery bank with the new battery bank. The battery package factors in wires and terminals for paralleled connections. Once paired together, existing connections are restored.
*NOTE: Additional labor and materials may apply if existing battery bank is relocated because of space requirements.
Battery Specifications:
Volts: 12V (Each & Total)
Ah Capacity: 600Ah (Total)
Weight: 30 Pounds (Each)
Dimensions: 12-3/4” L x 6-7/8” W x 9” H (Each)
Why Battle Born?:
Lithium batteries have evolved drastically over the last few years. Positively, we have seen the designs improve and expense decrease significantly as this technology has evolved. While the drop-in style lithium battery market is very competitive and comparable in price and performance, they are not all equal which is why we primarily install Battle Born batteries. We like them for their versatile design and US assembly.

Benefits of a Battery Monitor (not included, click for pricing):
If you are choosing a Complete Solar Package to pair with your battery upgrade, a battery monitor is included. If your battery upgrade is a standalone project, then we highly suggest adding a battery monitor. We install the Victron BMV-712 Battery Monitor with Temperature Sensor on the most negative side of your battery bank. The shunt in this battery monitor is able to calculate the net voltage of your battery bank and thus provide a precise battery state of charge in the form of a percentage. Since battery voltage is influenced by loads and charging sources, gross voltage readouts from charge controllers, stock panels inside your RV, or voltmeters, would provide potentially inflated voltages when the batteries are being charged or the reverse if the batteries were under heavy loads. A true, shunt based battery monitor is arguably one of the most quintessential components for an off-grid camper exercising energy management.
Disclaimer:
All kits are comprised of the main components, estimated wire lengths and hardware, and estimated labor based on standard installations. Installation cost may vary across different applications. Please note that this estimate is assuming straightforward installation in the existing battery housing compartment. If battery compartment needs to be modified or moved for this upgrade, additional costs would apply. Additionally, we will want to ensure charging specifications are met with any battery upgrade. Generally speaking, stock converter/chargers do not meet the required charging parameters for most batteries (read this article) but we especially are concerned for protecting your investment by upgrading the charger which would be a separate package (see Converter / Inverter Section).
