Complete Victron 3000VA Inverter Package
The 3000VA Victron Inverter Package includes installation of the following equipment:
Victron MultiPlus 12/3000VA/120-50 120V Pure Sine Inverter/Charger
Digital Multi Control 200/200A
Fuse & Fuse Holder
Low/High Voltage Disconnects
MK3 Computer Interface
Installation Overview:
From the inverter, there are (3) primary connections, outlined below: (1) AC In, (2) AC Out, (3) Positive & Negative Battery Feeds, and (4) Remote Monitoring. The inverter is programmed utilizing an MK3-USB adapter and laptop according to the battery and system profile.
AC In - We disconnect the factory shore power that feeds the Main Panel/Breaker Box within the factory house Converter and redirect it to a new 30A Main/Breaker Box that feeds the AC In on the Victron Multiplus Inverter. Additionally, we remove the charger from the factory house Converter because the new inverter will also perform as a much more sophisticated and efficient charging source to your battery bank.
AC Out - We take the disconnected factory Main Panel/Breaker Box within the factory house Converter and connect it to the AC Output of the inverter.
Positive & Negative Battery Feeds - From the inverter, we utilize high-current power wire to connect the inverter to both the positive and negative terminals of the battery bank. The positive side is interrupted with a high/low voltage disconnect switch and circuit protection. The negative side will either be connected directly to the battery most negative terminal or to the load side of the battery monitor’s shunt, if applicable.
Remote Monitoring - The inverter is equipped with an RJ-45 Modular Jack to interface with a remote monitoring device. Included in this package is a Digital Multi Control 200-200A Remote and 5 Meter RJ-45 Ethernet Cable which allows the monitor to be mounted remotely in the RV. Visit our Monitor Packages page to learn more about the other monitor options for this inverter.

Victron Products:
The Victron 3000VA Inverter is designed to power AC loads. While off-grid, it would draw power from the battery bank to supply power to AC electrical outlets. If connected to shore power, the inverter has the ability to pass power through to AC loads and charge the battery bank. It can also assist shore power with load demands which exceed shore output by drawing from the battery bank in order to meet load demands. The 2800W rating of the Victron 3000VA inverter allows it to power nearly anything in an RV, including an air conditioner. Note that it might not power everything all at once and meeting load demands requires sufficient power from the battery bank which is why it is important to make sure the battery bank is equipped to handle this size of an inverter.
