2019 Newmar New Aire

We installed a complete solar and battery system in this 2019 Newmar New Aire Class A motorhome.

This vehicle was outfitted with the following components:

  • Qty 6 - 200W Grape Solar Panels w/ custom-fabricated roof rack. Rack mounting brackets are laser cut and powdercoated to match factory Newmar roof gussets.

  • Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 150/85-Tr (85A) Solar Charge Controller w/ dedicated High-current Roof Combiner Box

  • Victron Energy BMV-712-S Smart Battery Monitor w/ Temperature Sensor

  • 15A Amp-L-Start Chassis Battery Maintainer (charging provided via house battery bank)

  • Qty 8 - Lifeline GPL-4CT 6V 220Ah (880 Ah total @ 12VDC) AGM batteries

  • Qty 2 - Alliance (Freighliner-recommended) AE1131MF 12V Group 31 Starting batteries
