2017 Escape Trailer Industries
For this customer we installed an AM Solar SunRunner Victron 30MPPT/6 Core kit & 2x AM Solar SF 180 Solar Panel kits with tall rocker mounts using well nut inserts & stainless steel hardware (recommended for fiberglass roofing material) and connected to the customer's existing MC4 solar pre-wired roof mounted combiner box. We sealed the panel feet to roof using Sikaflex polyurethane sealant followed with Dicor sealant. In addition to the new solar power system, we installed a Victron Smart BMV-712 battery monitor kit and Victron 3000 Multiplus inverter/charger and low voltage disconnect w/ remote control along with a 400A fuse holder and dedicated 30A main load center. Finally, we installed 3x RELiON RB100 100ah lithium iron phosphate batteries with anchor straps and blocking installed as-required. After using the trailer for several months, our customer returned to have us expand his battery bank to a total of 5x 100ah lithium iron phosphate batteries (this time using Royal Battery - Constant Power CPL12-100 100ah lithium iron phosphate which are a direct comparison to the RELiON RB100 installed months previously).
